Moving windows 7 installation to an other partition.

Hi,
I want to move a windows 7 installation from my ssd to a slower hdd partition so I can install linux on my ssd. is it possible to do under linux?
I will boot from a ubuntu installation on a different hdd when I will perfrom the task.
