Slarm64 - Honeycomb LX2 - It works
by bw42 from LinuxQuestions.org on (#5N8BN)
I was able to get a Solid Run Honeycomb LX2 ARM workstation/server board.
It was actually pretty easy to get Slarm64 up and running on it using the UEFI firmware.
Used a Debian install on the eMMC to download the Slarm64 packages, partitioned my nvme drive, installed pkgtools on Debian and used installpkg to install Slarm64 on the nvme drive manually.
Once they were installed, I was able to use chroot to download and build Grub for aarch64, and rebuild the kernel to add missing drivers for on board SATA and my SATA add-on card.
When I get time I might put together a proper UEFI installer for aarch64.
