Ready to learn!

I first ran into UNIX on office workstations in the mid 1980s. I learned rudimentary user command line functions... nothing about systems or admin. And then PCs became the office standard. In the late 1990s Linux entered my world, and I had a fine and frustrating toy. Fine because it looked to be useful. Frustrating because I couldn't figure how to make it useful! I kept trying newer editions, until in 2019 I replaced my wife's Windows system with Mint Cinnamon, and have been enjoying stability and reliability since then. Last week I installed Mint 20.2 Cinnamon on my laptop, and am looking forward to finding help to overcome challenges like getting an external (USB) SDD to mount.
