BIND as secondary for Windows DNS
by CyberIT from LinuxQuestions.org on (#5ND12)
I have (4) domain controllers running Microsoft DNS. Im trying to introduce RHEL servers as BIND secondary (slave) servers.
Im having zone transfers done from (1) domain controller to all of the BIND slave servers. Looks like the zone transfers are taking place but I receive the following xfer-in error.
Code:Log Entry: 16-Aug-2021 03:13:44.473 xfer-in: error: transfer of 'example.com/IN' from 192.168.10.25#53: failed while receiving responses: not exactTransfers seem to be working but the 'no exact' I believe means they arent identical so maybe the TTL is too long?
Not sure why that is taking place...
Any help is appreciated! Thanks!
