Touch Screen Monitor - anyone using them in EOS 6? Mine is being seen but not working...

Ok, last piece of the setup puzzle.
I have a touch screen monitor (that uses a single USB C cable for power and touch screen operations). Works in Windows without drivers, and IIRC it worked "out of the box" with Manjaro.
In EOS 6, I can see the screen, the three finger (or whatever is set in System Settings) swiping works, but does not "stick", I cna see no dock or anything other than the screen wallpaper.
Has touch screen operations been included in EOS 6?
Thanks
