Kernel Panic
by tjalaska from LinuxQuestions.org on (#5P3KT)
After installing RHEL 7.3 I get a Kernel Panic. The call trace before the panic is:
Call Trace:
? mtrr_restore+0xb0/0xb0

..............................................................................................................
RIPstop_machine_from_inactive_cpu+0x119/0x 120
RSP
end trace
Kernel panic - not syncing: Fatal exception
BUG: unable to handle kernel
I am running a DFI MB PL610-C622 with Intel Xeon Gold 5118 CPU. I also see information in the beginning of the boot that says CPU family 6 model 85 has not been tested with this version. See Red Hat website for certified hardware.
Any help would be appreciated.
