Help required to increase Partition size
by JohnBoy47 from LinuxQuestions.org on (#5P894)
Hi,
About 6 months ago I built a dual boot PC - Linux Mint V20 and Windows 10. I used a 1Tb SSD drive and made 3 partitions, although there are more - 7 partitions and 2 unallocated. The three partitions were approximately 60Gb for Linux, 60 Gb for windows and the rest for shared data. I mainly intended to use Linux and only occasionally used Windows. I HAVE ATTACHED TWO PHOTOS WILL MAY EXPLAIN THE SITUATION BETTER THAN ME.
Everything has worked perfectly but now the Linux partition is almost full and I keep getting a warning about the "filesystem". I presume I just need to increase the partition size of /dev/sda7 using Gparted but I don't know how to go about it and would welcome some advice.
Thanks in advance.
John
