Sentencing hearing set for convicted killer Jeremy Hall
by Nicole O’Reilly - Spectator Reporter from on (#5PA92)

The sentencing hearing for convicted murderer Jeremy Hall has been set for next Friday.
Hall was convicted of second-degree murder earlier this year for the 2006 shotgun slaying of 27-year-old Billy Mason, whose body was incinerated.
The sentencing hearing was delayed last week when Hall's lawyer was ill and Hall did not want another lawyer to represent him.
Hall was originally convicted by a jury of first-degree murder. But that was overturned on appeal, leading to the new trial heard intermittently over the past 20 months.
Hall returns to court Sept. 17 at 2 p.m. to learn his sentence.
