Having issues unzipping certain MS Onedrive files - is there a better app for these?

I am in the process of migrating from Onedrive and I am downloading all my files from there. However when I go to unzip files downloaded, the unzipping app in EOS cannot open or unzip it.
I think it is using 7-zip by default....well at least, when I checked in Synaptic it is already installed, so I assume it's using that.
It is not with all of the zip files, just some that are a bit larger. Plenty of space on the drive so it's not that.
So I was wondering if there is a better unzipping tool, OR if someone may have had experience with this issue before and know s how to fix it.
Onedrive automatically downloads any folder as a zip file. I could try removing all data from those folders and try and download one by one, but that would take forever, as the moment you add more than one file in that manner, it auto zips it again!!
