Jeudy reportedly expected to miss 4-6 weeks with high ankle sprain
Denver Broncos receiver Jerry Jeudy will miss some time with a high ankle sprain, head coach Vic Fangio said Monday.
The sophomore wideout was carted off the field after a defender rolled on his ankle during Sunday's win over the New York Giants.
"He's definitely got a high ankle sprain. Everything else checked out good. He's going to miss some time. It's hard to put a timetable on it right now," Fangio said.
Jeudy is expected to be sidelined four-to-six weeks, a source told ESPN's Adam Schefter.
The Broncos haven't yet determined if Jeudy will require a stint on injured reserve, which comes with a minimum three-week absence.
Jeudy was enjoying a strong start to the campaign, hauling in six passes on seven targets for 72 yards. The 15th overall pick of the 2020 draft was looking to improve upon a rookie season in which he fell short of expectations with 856 yards and three touchdowns.
Broncos guard Graham Glasgow was taken to hospital with an irregular heartbeat after Sunday's game but is expected to return to the team later Monday.
