Wicked or NetworkManager ?
by marozsas from LinuxQuestions.org on (#5PGF0)
What is the current state of art ? Wicked or NetworkManager ?
What is the trend ?
Until now, on opensuse, i'm using NetworkManager to setup my (simple) network needs.
But now I am dealing with VM with a bridge network that as long as I read, NM is not capable to handle it properly, and I should migrate to wicked.
I have cabled and wireless networks configured in my system, also 2 OVPN (openvpn) to the workplace, easily controlled by KDE network applet. Should I reconfigure all theses networks to work with Wicked schema ?
I'm confused.
I appreciate any comments on this subject, please !
