The Indianapolis Colts will be the first team featured on a new in-season edition of HBO's "Hard Knocks."

"Hard Knocks" followed the Dallas Cowboys during this year's preseason, marking the third time the series highlighted the NFC East club.
The Colts, who kicked off their 2021 campaign with a loss to the Seattle Seahawks, traded for quarterback Carson Wentz during the offseason following veteran Philip Rivers' retirement. Wentz, who spent his first five seasons with the Philadelphia Eagles, has struggled to stay healthy since being drafted second overall in 2016. The former Pro Bowler battled a foot injury this past offseason but managed to play in Week 1.
Additionally, Indy features some of the NFL's best young players in guard Quenton Nelson and linebacker Darius Leonard. The team also brought 10-year veteran T.Y. Hilton back for what could be the wideout's final season with the franchise. However, Hilton will miss at least three games due to a neck ailment.
The Colts are in their fourth and fifth seasons under head coach Frank Reich and general manager Chris Ballard, respectively. Indianapolis will be the second AFC South club featured on "Hard Knocks" after the Houston Texans in 2015.
