4MLinux (maybe 36 series) hangs at bootup - 'The item KEYBOARD LAYOUT is being processed'

I'm running it in a VM on virt-man. It hangs at boot up at this line:
Code:The item KEYBOARD LAYOUT is being processedPreviously, I had selected force shutdown in the virt-man settings. Maybe that broke something?
Do you know a fix?
