KDE Plasma - how to maximize application / control window geometry from command line?
by boughtonp from LinuxQuestions.org on (#5PRMA)
For example, with xterm I can do: "xterm -maximized -e top" and get top running fullscreen.
But with KDE's konsole there is no maximize option (maximized is different to fullscreen).
I am aware of the "Use current window size on next startup" setting, but this is not what I want, and likewise right-clicking the titlebar of an application has "Special Window Settings" under "More Actions" - I do not want to persistently change it.
Currently, I am using the Meta+PgUp shortcut after an application has started - but on a small laptop keyboard with limited space this is an awkward shortcut, so I want to avoid it.
