Slackware new kernel with blacklist
by mameko from LinuxQuestions.org on (#5PYSF)
My Slackware 15 RC 1 is running fine on my notebook.
Following the docs I blacklisted these in /etc/slackpkg/blacklist:
kernel-generic
kernel-generic-smp
kernel-huge
kernel-huge-smp
kernel-modules
kernel-modules-smp
I'm running the kernel 5.14.4 now.
What happens when a new kernel is published? Will I get a notice or will it be automatically downloaded? How will I know that I can install a new kernel?
Which is the actual kernel now?
