The Cleveland Browns spoiled Justin Fields' first NFL start, beating the Chicago Bears 26-6 on Sunday.

The Browns outclassed the Bears in almost every phase of the game. Chicago totaled just one net passing yard and 47 yards of total offense, while Fields was sacked nine times.

"You almost can't make it up. It was that bad," Bears head coach Matt Nagy said postgame, according to Adam Hoge of NBC Sports Chicago.

Nagy told reporters that Fields - who started in place of the injured Andy Dalton - might have suffered a hand injury late in the loss, according to Chicago Tribune's Brad Biggs. However, the rookie passer said his hand checked out fine.

Bears left tackle Jason Peters noticeably struggled to slow down Browns pass-rusher Myles Garrett. The Pro Bowler broke a franchise record by notching 4.5 sacks. He also added six quarterback hits.

Fields completed 6 of 20 passes in the game for a 41.3 passer rating.

Chicago moves to 1-2 with the loss and will prepare for a Week 4 matchup against the Detroit Lions.
