Keyboard backlight not working after suspend (Dell Vostro 5415, Fedora 34 (latest))

Hi,

I have a weird problem: my keyboard backlight does not work after suspend - resume cycle. What's even weirder is that restart doesn't solve this as well, only a full power off - power on.

Everything else works perfectly fine (except for touchpad gestures after suspend also, but that's easily fixed by running sudo rmmod i2c_hid_acpi i2c_hid ; sudo modprobe i2c_hid_acpi ; sudo modprobe i2c_hid).

I've tried using xset led 3, manually setting backlight brightness like so: echo "2" | sudo tee /sys/class/leds/dell::kbd_backlight/brightness. That does not work. However, the brightness value is changed there even by pressing the brightness control button on the keyboard. I've also tried modprob'ing several other modules, adding kernel boot parameters and restarting services all of which looked at least remotely related to keyboard backlight. I'm also unable to change keyboard backlight start_triggers which are stuck at -keyboard -touchpad.

I believe the solution should be similar to the touchpad, like restarting some module or service, as the input from the keyboard brightness button is picked up correctly and the value in /sys/class/leds/dell::kbd_backlight/brightness does reflect the level of keyboard brightness when it works.

Can anyone suggest anything, please?

Thanks in advance :)latest?d=yIl2AUoC8zA latest?i=bI6ms33NwX4:0TUkGFTwjUQ:F7zBnMy latest?i=bI6ms33NwX4:0TUkGFTwjUQ:V_sGLiP latest?d=qj6IDK7rITs latest?i=bI6ms33NwX4:0TUkGFTwjUQ:gIN9vFwbI6ms33NwX4
