Dalvin Cook listed as questionable ahead of Week 4 vs. Browns
Minnesota Vikings running back Dalvin Cook is questionable for Sunday's game against the Cleveland Browns, the team announced Friday.
Cook, who missed Minnesota's win over the Seattle Seahawks last week due to an ankle injury, was limited at practice Wednesday and Thursday.
The two-time Pro Bowler started the season hot before being sidelined. He racked up 192 yards (4.6 per carry) and one touchdown on the ground through the first two games. Alexander Mattison replaced Cook against the Seahawks and enjoyed a career day with 171 scrimmage yards.
Cook would be a crucial weapon for the Vikings against the Browns, who've allowed only 67 rushing yards per game in 2021, the fifth-best mark in the NFL.
Minnesota also listed star linebacker Anthony Barr as questionable Friday. Barr is battling a knee injury and has yet to play this season.
Offensive tackle Christian Darrisaw, the Vikings' first-round pick this year, wasn't listed on Friday's injury report and can be active for his first NFL game Sunday.
