Milton golf cart crash leaves man hospitalized after 20-foot fall down embankment

One person has been taken to a hospital following an incident Friday morning involving a work vehicle at a Milton golf course.
Police were called to Wyldewood Golf and Country Club in Milton at approximately 10:30 a.m., Halton police said. The incident didn't occur on a roadway.
According to Sgt. Jeff Dunham, a worker in a golf cart went off a small bridge and landed about 20 feet down an embankment near a creek. The Milton Fire department and EMS extricated the man on a backboard in a rescue basket.
The injured man was then transported to a hospital with minor injuries.
The Ontario's Ministry of Labour has been notified.
