Report: Ravens' RBs receiving trade interest

The Baltimore Ravens have received trade inquiries for their running backs, league sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter.

The Ravens' rebuilt backfield currently consists of veteran backs Latavius Murray, Devonta Freeman, Le'Veon Bell, and Ty'Son Williams. The Ravens were forced to make additions after losing J.K. Dobbins, Gus Edwards, and Justice Hill to season-ending injuries.

Williams, a second-year pro, emerged as the hot hand to begin the season, rushing for at least 65 yards in each of the first two games of the year. However, he's fallen out of favor recently. Williams received just five carries in Week 3 and was inactive for last week's game against the Denver Broncos as the Ravens chose to rely on their veteran backs instead.

Murray has rushed for 151 yards across four games and earned his first start of the season against the Broncos. Meanwhile, Freeman has chipped in 41 yards on six carries.

Bell made his season debut in Week 4 but only ran for 11 yards on four carries.

Despite their backfield being devastated by injuries prior to the season, Baltimore is still averaging 164.5 yards on the ground per game, the fourth-highest in the NFL. Lamar Jackson has become the focal point of the attack with a team-leading 279 rushing yards.

The trade deadline for the 2021 season is Nov. 2.
