LibrerOffice update has damaged Cacl sheets
by Crb999 from LinuxQuestions.org on (#5QKHB)
Hi All,
===========================================
I am using Libreoffice 7.2.1.2 on the following machine and system:
Kubuntu
NAME="Ubuntu"
VERSION="20.04.3 LTS (Focal Fossa)"
ID=ubuntu
ID_LIKE=debian
PRETTY_NAME="Ubuntu 20.04.3 LTS"
VERSION_ID="20.04"
Linux version 5.4.0-88-generic (buildd@lgw01-amd64-008) (gcc version 9.3.0 (Ubuntu 9.3.0-17ubuntu1~20.04)) #99-Ubun

===========================================
It's hard to know when to stop adding info.
Created many years ago, I have a Calc' document that I use regularly as a data base to keep track of my Karate students.
The sheet has many columns. The first, the names and the very last is an internal hyperlink to an odt file in that students name.
All has been well through the twenty years I've been using it, even through the change from OpenOffice to LibreOffice.
I have accepted all suggested updates from Libreoffice and now find that the registration of the notes, (last column), and the names, (first columns), has shifted out of kilter by two or three names!
See picture.
I can, of course, go and edit every entry to correct the problem but without knowing what has happened, and why, it is likely to happen again.
If anyone has any ideas concerning this I would appreciate them sharing it with me.
Regards
Chris
Ps. I intended to attach a picture but, oddly enough, this site does not accept the native format of Linux GNU! I can only save files as type xcf'.
