IP Incongruence with command hostname

I will ask this preliminary question before my more detailed one as it may not be as complicated as I think.

Using the commands "hostname -i" and "hostname -I" I received different information. And not like.. it looks different. The actually ip addresses listed are completely different. You'd think listing 'all' the IP addresses wouldn't change what the basic IP address is, unless there in different categories somehow.

Any ideas why that might be?latest?d=yIl2AUoC8zA latest?i=xCoI5Rdc75E:ply1MhPBRN4:F7zBnMy latest?i=xCoI5Rdc75E:ply1MhPBRN4:V_sGLiP latest?d=qj6IDK7rITs latest?i=xCoI5Rdc75E:ply1MhPBRN4:gIN9vFwxCoI5Rdc75E
