Is it the Graphics card, or the software, or something else?

Hello,
Fairly recent convert from Win 7 moving to Linux Mint 20.1- 20.2
I've built one computer with basics and it's been going a couple years now and working OK I'm using Thor Towers with the following, Working one has ROG STIX board, AMD RYZEN 5 processor, 32GB Hyper DDR4 RAM, 1TB WD SSD Sata Drive,CD Drive, DVD Drive, ASUS Gforce 1GB RAM GT710. (Dual monitor, 1 HDMI, 1 DVI) System works OK.
New Power house I've built but can seem to get to run right as I keep erroring out on the video It will start about 1 in 4 as far as the bios settings, and 1 in 6 times actual login then will freeze in a few minutes.
Powerhouse setup Same tower, same board, same processor, same type of Memory except it's 64GB this time, Storage is a WD Black M.2.2 1TB drive, 1st attempt same type of video card. DVD Drive, Kingwin card reader array. 2nd attempt Vid card was GE-Force 5200128 MB AGP, 3rd attempt I did a quick linux search and saw that Live Gamer RAW PCI-e Gamer capture card 2160Pro was recommended (Didn't even recognize on the board) I've also tried a coupe of generic PCI cards as well with not favorable results. Hoping to put Dual HDMI in the computer and run 1 VGA to HDMI and 1 DVI to HDMI until I need to change monitors (Fairly soon - next couple of years- I Hope) Dual HDMI monitors/TV's.
Any ideas as to cause or recommendations for Hardware/software for video?
Thank you in advance.
