The Czech Republic is embroiled in a political crisis with the ill-health of far-right president Milo Zeman coinciding with a general election, and it is also seeing rising Covid numbers.
Robert Muller reports from Prague for Reuters that the Czech Republic detected 2,521 new cases of Covid yesterday, the highest daily tally since late April.
