Hand-drawn licence plate spotted in Caledonia is ‘no joke,’ OPP say

Don't laugh at this homemade licence plate, police say.

Haldimand Ontario Provincial Police posted a photo of a hand-drawn plate" - a roughly cut piece of cardboard, bolted to a blue Dodge vehicle - to their West Region Twitter account Tuesday.

An officer spotted the offending vehicle in Caledonia Monday afternoon.

In the tweet, OPP insist the half-blurred image is no joke."

The vehicle's owner is likely not laughing, as police said they took it off the road and laid appropriate charges."
