[SOLVED] Notebook goes AWOL with lid closed
by lucmove from LinuxQuestions.org on (#5R3F6)
I have two Debian machines, one is a notebook. I SSH from my desktop to the notebook.
That only works when the notebook's screen/lid is open. When I close it, the SSH session becomes completely irresponsive. When I open the lid, the session becomes alive again after about 10 seconds. If I close the lid, I lose the session again.
I have no idea what is causing it. It's nothing that I configured, must be some kind of default. Any ideas, please?
