New York Jets quarterback Zach Wilson is out two-to-four weeks after an MRI confirmed he suffered a sprained PCL in Sunday's 54-13 loss to the New England Patriots, Jets head coach Robert Saleh announced Monday.

The rookie signal-caller injured his PCL on a low hit in the second quarter and said after the game he heard a "pop" in his knee.

Mike White took over at quarterback for New York, making his NFL debut. White was 20-of-32 passing for 202 yards and one touchdown against two interceptions.

The Jets acquired veteran passer Joe Flacco on Monday in the wake of Wilson's injury.

Wilson, 22, has struggled through the first seven games of his NFL career. The 2021 No. 2 pick is tied for most interceptions in the league with nine and has thrown just four touchdown passes. He also has the third-worst completion percentage and passer rating at 57.5% and 63.5, respectively.

New York's blowout loss to the Patriots dropped the Jets to 1-5.
