Running OBS in Linux with ALSA to use a video capture device
by carlmart from LinuxQuestions.org on (#5R4JM)
I have a Chinese video capture device which is fine for HD video, delivering good quality images in Windows.
The problem is the audio capture, which is only mono.
Apparently for devices of that price range, in Windows I will always get mono audio, but it was suggested that running a Linux distro with ALSA might get a real stereo track.
Has anyone used video capture devices and got stereo or multrack audio on the capture?
