A web search returns: Quote:
Is Z library legal?
Z Library is an online project intended to create one web page for every book ever published". It has been funded in part by grants from the California State Library and the Kahle/Austin Foundation. There are many free books available in PDF format; it is perfectly legal to download and read them. Apr 5, 2019
Or maybe this is web MIS-information. It says "free" but the site includes almost every NON-free book!

I included a poll, so you could respond anonymously with just a click.

Note that I avoided posting a direct link to this 'one Library'!

I myself actually prefer hard copies but only get them from local libraries (because I don't want to allocate the space and money). I only buy about one book every couple years but I like to be able to skim through (.PDF) a book which I once had in my hands.

For example: this new book: amazon.com/Linux-Cookbook-Essential-Network-Administrators/dp/1492087165
Hasn't shown up in my local library yet but I did download the .PDF and I might consider buying it (after I've spent a few weeks with a library copy in my hands)latest?d=yIl2AUoC8zA latest?i=tmrr6-2Av6E:tXqTDjRfMNs:F7zBnMy latest?i=tmrr6-2Av6E:tXqTDjRfMNs:V_sGLiP latest?d=qj6IDK7rITs latest?i=tmrr6-2Av6E:tXqTDjRfMNs:gIN9vFwtmrr6-2Av6E
