Colin Powell honored by presidents and dignitaries at memorial in Washington

Service for former secretary of state at National Cathedral attended by Biden, Bush and Obama, but not Trump

Colin Powell, who rose from a humble background to serve as America's secretary of state, was honored at Washington's National Cathedral on Friday, following his death last month at the age of 84.

The funeral service was attended by the current president and first lady and former presidents, first ladies and secretaries of state, in an atmosphere akin to a state funeral.
