Which of the 4 Linux sleep states is intended by Suspend in XFCE?

1. Suspend-to-Idle
2. Standby
3. Suspend-to-RAM
4. Hibernation

My distro does not have the power management utility and clicking on the logout gui Suspend button does not do anything, but I believe it would if set-up properly.
