I ran the linux update manager to do an upgrade. I followed that with a command on terminal which updates/upgrades.My late friend created that command.
Code:./update I have been using both methods on updates as well as just started to use the sudo apt update and sudo apt upgrade.

It said some info is no longer needed so I could remove with sudo apt autoremove command. Do the sudo apt commands also let a person know when 'sudo apt autoremove' is needed? I have not been using them for very long...

Code:The following packages were automatically installed and are no longer required:
linux-headers-5.4.0-88 linux-headers-5.4.0-88-generic
linux-image-5.4.0-88-generic linux-modules-5.4.0-88-generic
linux-modules-extra-5.4.0-88-generic
Use 'sudo apt autoremove' to remove them.
In the process of removal,it said

Code:-------- Uninstall Beginning --------
Module: ndiswrapper
Version: 1.60
Kernel: 5.4.0-88-generic (x86_64)
-------------------------------------

Status: Before uninstall, this module version was ACTIVE on this kernel.

ndiswrapper.ko:
- Uninstallation
- Deleting from: /lib/modules/5.4.0-88-generic/updates/
- Original module
- No original module was found for this module on this kernel.
- Use the dkms install command to reinstall any previous module version.

depmod...

DKMS: uninstall completed.I copied the entire scan if that is needed.

From what I copied here, do I need to do the Code: dkms installcommand to reinstall any previous module version?
Am I interpreting that correctly that I enter "dkms install" ?

Again, I can copy the entire scan info if that would be helpful.
Thanks in advance for help on this.
