Can't login to EndeavourOS after reboot

I just installed EndeavourOS. Initially, and even after a couple of reboots I can login. But eventually I choose my username, enter the password, get a black screen, then I'm presented with the same login screen. I'm unable to get past that. I tried reinstalling EndeavourOS but the same thing occurs. Any suggestions?
