github: is select and filter of a project's forks possible?
by dedec0 from LinuxQuestions.org on (#5RV6K)
Some projects hosted on github have many many forks. For example, phpfreechat has 195 fork, right now.
But phpfreechat has been mostly inactive for (at least) 9 years. It is a bit contradictory, since it still has a page active in its own domain, besides the code being in github and sourceforge.
Anyway, I am talking about the 195 forks made on github. Can I quickly filter, from all these ones, which have evolved in any aspect, compared to what phpfreechat is, right now?
There are forks which were made before development of PFC stopped, as https://github.com/1060460048/phpfreechat (the first one in the list).
So, I am imagining if there is a way to navigate through this list more quickly, discarding some forks based on a filter, manually inspecting ones if this and that, and so on.
Any suggestions are welcome.
