Strange shutdown -white text on black screen and poof it's gone.
by CurrentWave from LinuxQuestions.org on (#5RVNX)
I'm running Linux Mint 20.2 and Cin 5.0.7
For some time now when I shutdown and the screen goes black I see some lines of white text flash and then the power goes off. All I can get from the small test-flash is something was unable to mount...or something. The flash is much to fast to read, and why would something like this be showing up just before power off?
I've done tons and tons of searching on this and it seems I'm the only one in the world that this happens to.
My system otherwise runs just fine.
I keep it up to date, I do regular cleans, run the maintenance manager, etc.
Anyone ever hear of this type of thing?
Any thoughts on how to proceed?
