Chiefs' Edwards-Helaire activated from IR, questionable to play vs. Cowboys
The Kansas City Chiefs activated running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire from injured reserve ahead of Sunday's game against the Dallas Cowboys, the team announced Saturday.
However, the 22-year-old might not be ready to return as he was listed as questionable with a knee injury.
Edwards-Helaire missed the last five contests after suffering an MCL sprain in Week 5.
The Chiefs designated the running back to return from IR prior to Week 10 but opted not to activate him ahead of a blowout win over the Las Vegas Raiders.
Edwards-Helaire has produced 304 rushing yards and two receiving touchdowns in five appearances this season.
Darrel Williams stepped up in Edwards-Helaire's absence. He racked up 101 receiving yards, 43 rushing yards, and one touchdown catch against the Raiders.
