Partition in MacOS Catalina when installing Ubuntu 20.04
by puskas from LinuxQuestions.org on (#5S654)
Hi,
I have MacOS Catalina 10.15.7 and I'm trying to set up a partition. As I understand setting up volumes instead of partitions are suggested. So, I did but when trying to install Ubuntu 20.04.03 from USB I can't see the created volume which I already verified by 'diskutil list'.
With Ubuntu from USB memory stick I have /dev/sda1 and /dev/sda2, and sda2 has 120 GB for the whole hard disk. I rather would set up a partition but it doesn't work with disk utility. When trying partition the option for using plus '+' is greyed out.
Anyone that can help me forward?
