Police seek witnesses after 22-year-old struck by vehicle on Hamilton Mountain
Hamilton police continue to investigate a collision on the west Mountain that resulted in a 22-year-old man being taken to hospital Sunday with serious injuries.
Police responded to Balfour and Scenic drives just after 7 p.m. on Nov. 21 for a crash involving a vehicle and a pedestrian, they said in a press release Monday.
According to police, a 2013 Chevrolet was travelling east on Scenic Drive when it made a left turn onto Balfour Drive and struck the 22-year-old. He was crossing Balfour on the north side of Scenic, police said.
The pedestrian was taken to Hamilton General Hospital.
Speed and driver impairment were not factors involved in the investigation," they added.
