JRR Token surfaced as a cryptocurrency in early August this year - filled to the brim with fan-like quips, messaging, and promising to be the "one token to rule them all". Now, the JRR Tolkien Estate has moved to block the usage of the famous writer's name and intelectual property - ending the short reign of JRR Token.
