Trio charged after erratic driving tips Hamilton police to loaded gun
Three men are facing multiple firearm charges after a loaded gun was seized by Hamilton police.
The incident began around 3:30 a.m., on Saturday, Nov. 20. Patrol officers spotted a vehicle being driven erratically in the area of Concession Street and Upper Gage Avenue, police said. Three people were in the vehicle.
Police say the driver fled the area and the vehicle was found abandoned minutes later at Upper Wellington Street and Limeridge Road East.
Police found a loaded handgun and magazine in the vehicle.
Three suspects were arrested a short distance away.
A 26-year-old Brampton man, a 24-year-old Hamilton man and a 17-year-old from Scarborough face multiple firearm charges.
