What would be the best Linux version to load onyo a Dell Inspiron 11 300 series laptop?

I have two of these Dell laptop, and I am tired of running Windows on them. Looking for a recommendation on which Linux OS would be a good choice to install and wipe out Windows.

I am not well-versed with Linux, and want to learn a bit more, and keep using these two laptops.
