Taysom Hill revealed Tuesday he's dealing with a partially torn plantar fascia, but the New Orleans Saints utility man said he's healthy enough to play, according to ESPN's Mike Triplett.

Hill dressed for Thanksgiving a week ago but didn't take a snap in the Saints' blowout loss to the Buffalo Bills. Head coach Sean Payton said Hill was confined to an emergency role as the backup quarterback for Trevor Siemian because of a foot injury.

The Saints are reportedly giving Hill reps with the starters at practice leading up to Week 13. Payton has been coy about his quarterback plans versus the Dallas Cowboys and said Tuesday "we'll see" who starts on Thursday Night Football.

The Saints have lost four straight games started by Siemian, who took over after Jameis Winston went down with a season-ending knee injury.

Hill, who often lines up across the formation and plays a variety of roles in the offense, has thrown just four passes since Winston's injury. He started four games at quarterback last year while filling in for an injured Drew Brees and went 3-1.

New Orleans recently signed Hill to a four-year extension with a fluid salary that changes based on whether he plays quarterback in the future.
