Cannot install iwlwifi in Clonezilla live 2.8

Hey all.
I have downloaded and installed Clonezilla live 2.8 on an USB flash drive.
Tried to change sources.list, used chmod to make the file writeable, but is forbidden to change the sources.list file?!
I need to add non-free attribs to install the iwlwifi.
Every time it tells me that the file is unwritable??
It goes back to the Taiwan servers, and without the non-free attrib.
It says it cannot resolv "free.nchc.org.tw"
Any ideas to make the sources.list file writeable and I can iwlwifi?
It is an Intel 8265 card I want to install.
