This is us, at our proudly Canadian best

Just look at us.

After 108 years of getting together to just do something so Canadian, so little, thankfully, has changed.

Each November (except, of course, this COVID confounded year with the game pushed into mid-December), we forget about everything else for a couple of days, and on a special Sunday get to immerse ourselves in a Grey Cup.

Through the Great Depression, World Wars, endless global and internal conflicts and challenges, changing times and hyper excelerating technology, we do the same thing our parents and grandparents and their parents did: we watch or listen to the Grey Cup.

And, we're very good at it.

So, as the Grey Cup returns to Hamilton for the first time in 25 of those 108 years, give yourself a pat on the back, celebrate your team and on Dec. 12, celebrate your game.
