Abandoned Haldimand cemetery with graves of Black settlers to be restored after local campaign

An abandoned cemetery southeast of Hamilton which is the final resting place for at least a dozen Black settlers, including a niece of renowned anti-slavery icon Harriet Tubman, will soon be restored, thanks to some local volunteers and county councillors.
