Starting with v94 Firefox has been all messed up

it's resetting my settings back to default when I reboot
It also has forced me to add a primary password cuz passwords are bare-naked in the application menu (top right corner burger thingy).
What's up with this? Is it just me (3 boxes tho) or have they lost it? Firefox is for me right now unusable.
What do I edit in about:config to do away with this menu entry for the Passwords?
