Serious collision on Kenilworth Avenue sends pedestrian to hospital, closes street

A collision on Kenilworth Avenue North has badly injured a pedestrian and closed the street Monday morning.
Hamilton police said in a tweet around 9:30 a.m. the service is investigating a collision that sent a pedestrian to hospital with serious injuries."
No other information about the circumstances or the victim was immediately available. A small school bus was parked inside the taped-off collision scene on the street.
Kenilworth was closed for the investigation between Cambridge Avenue and Cannon Street.
