Calgary Flames defenseman Noah Hanifin and forwards Milan Lucic and Sean Monahan have entered the NHL's COVID-19 protocol, the team announced Tuesday.

The Flames now have nine players in protocol in addition to one staff member. The league has announced that it's postponed the club's next three games through at least Dec. 16.

Calgary added Elias Lindholm, Andrew Mangiapane, Brad Richardson, Adam Ruzicka, Chris Tanev, and Nikita Zadorov to the list on Monday. The NHL decided to cancel the team's contests out of precaution due to potentially lengthy quarantine requirements upon returning to Canada after a two-game road trip to the U.S.

The Ottawa Senators and New York Islanders are the only two other clubs in the NHL to have games postponed due to COVID-19 outbreaks so far this season.
