Tuesday night's contest between the Carolina Hurricanes and Minnesota Wild is postponed due to four more Hurricanes players testing positive for COVID-19, the Hurricanes confirmed.

Since Sebastian Aho and Seth Jarvis entered the league's protocol Monday, Ian Cole, Steven Lorentz, Jordan Staal, and Andrei Svechnikov tested positive for the virus, Carolina announced.

Including the Hurricanes' latest results, 15 NHL players have entered the league's COVID-19 protocol Tuesday.

Tuesday's matchup is the ninth game this season that's been postponed due to a COVID-19 outbreak. The New York Islanders, Ottawa Senators, and Calgary Flames have all had contests called off.

The Flames are dealing with a current outbreak as well, with nine players and one staff member in the protocol.
