printer/scanner with debian 11 bullseye
by chiendarret from LinuxQuestions.org on (#5T32P)
Having so-to-say upgraded from debian 10 to 11 I am in a mess with my printer/scanner HP Photosmart 5520. After adjusting a number of issues (like, for example, /usr/sbin not on the path), not having been offered a printer server at the install, I installed "cups" and "printer-driver-gutenprint"
After a very long number of unrecorded manipulations, I succeeded printing a text page. Today, at the new boot, I found no way to printing. gtklpq sees the job, however no print. vuescan (with which I never had problems) fails to find the printer.
Thanks a lot for suggesting an appropriate investigation (from HP tools I could not come out)
